Training Camps

Have your dog be a part of my family for an extended stay in my home, following an intesive, all-around training program that will cover obedience and life skills. 

Jump-Start Training Camp  |  $2,625

Our Jump-Start Training Camp is a 3 week program designed to provide you with the tools to have reliable control of your dog on-leash, and also lays the foundation to move to off-leash control.

During this program your dog will learn:

• Crate training

• Proper greeting (No jumping on people when on leash)

• Sit & Down stay on-leash

• Recall (come on command on 15ft leash)

• Loose leash walk with automatic sit

• Place (Go to a designated spot. Stay on a tether)

• Wait at thresholds

This program includes 3 scheduled training sessions to give you an opportunity to learn more about the training and canine behavior. We teach you the same methods we use in training your dog to ensure a smooth transition returning home.

The Good Dog Training Camp  |  $4,025

Our Good Dog Training Camp is a 5-6 week program designed to provide you with the tools to have a Good Dog with reliable off-leash control wherever you go.

During this program your dog will learn:

• Crate training

• Proper greeting (No jumping on people)

• Sit & Down Stay

• Emergency Down

• Recall (come on command OFF-leash around high distractions)

• Loose leash walk with automatic sit

• Off-leash walking beside you (informal heeling)

• Place (send to designated spot from a distance with reliable duration around any distractions)

• Leave it

• Wait at thresholds

This program includes 3 scheduled training sessions to give you an opportunity to learn more about the training and canine behavior. We teach you the same methods we use in training your dog to ensure a smooth transition returning home.

Training Camp will prepare your dog to be able to complete the AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluation:
Accept a friendly stranger
Let someone pet me
Let someone check my ears and feet
Walk nicely on a leash
Walk in through a crowd (hallway)
Sit, down and stay in place
Come when called on leash
Walk by another dog on leash
Respond well to distractions
Let someone hold my leash while you are out of sight for 3 minutes
